If you had been reading my blog for awhile you know I don’t considered myself an overly “girly” or “frilly” person. My wardrobe consists of mostly black, white, gray and other neutral pieces adding some color here and there. Recently, I have had the urge to try something new and maybe trade in my staple black skinny pants for something a little different. These two dresses from Abbey Glass are just what I needed to get me over my fear of all things feminine. When they both arrived I knew instantly I had to try them on I didn’t want to take them off!
While I am still early in my pregnancy I have definitely hit the “awkward” phase. My tiny baby bump makes dressing a little more difficult and I feel like I am either swimming in maternity clothes or squishing into my regular ones, but with both of these dresses I didn’t feel that way at all. The Carson Dress in the prettiest shade of pink flowed in all the right places and I kind of wish I knew about this dress when I was pregnant the first time. The Greer Dress and it’s ruffle sleeves….need I say more? This dress had me the moment I saw the sleeves. While Valentine’s day has always been very low key at our house I wish we had some fancy plans this year so I could show off one of these looks. Add a red lip or the right shoe and they are prefect for a night out with your special someone, or a “Galentine’s Day” brunch with your friends. If you use the code “INSPIREDBY10” you will get a special 10% off discount towards your purchase on Abbey Glass, I can’t think of a better reason to indulge in a little online retail therapy. Also, both my bag and earrings would make any girl happy this holiday so you can find them here and here.
Don’t forget to head over to some of my other favorite mom bloggers to see how they all styled their Abbey Glass looks, each one is better than the next I promise!
